With Rebecca At Last

Sorry for the belated post but I could not get our internet access to work last night so I'm using the business center. Of course that's not what you want to hear about anyway.

We do have Rebecca now. We had just arrived at our hotel with another couple from our travel group. We walked into the lobby and their daughter was already here. I whipped out my camera and started taking pictures for them & in walks Amanda with Rebecca! Bless her little heart, she was scared and was shaking a little . But we went up to the room and spent the rest of the evening. Bless Amanda's heart, she stayed until Rebecca was fast asleep. It was a very emotional day for me because even though she knew we were her parents, it was still very scary for her.

Today we finalize the adoption. I'll try to post more tonight.

Congratulations Hunters!! You have rendered the eminent scientist speechless... I didn't get emotional during my adoptions, yet I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. Please post pictures as son as you can.

Wonderful Carolin...I am so happy Amanda was able to stay, so Rebecca could start to learn you---how amazing, how sweet, how thankful I am that sweet Rebecca is in such a loving family!

Congratulations! How exciting. I have tears in my eyes reading about Rebecca's nervousness. I know she will be fine with her new family, but it is scary for any child going into the great unknown.

I agree, though. We need pictures!

We were so excited to see your post. It brought back so many emotions when we read it. Scott and I both got tears in our eyes. We know what that scared and confused look that Rebecca had, it was very hard to see Jenna that way. She will be a totally different girl in a few days. We are so happy for you all and give the kids hugs from us. We love you.

Congratulations!!!!!! Can't wait to hear more.

It's great Amanda could stay so long. She really loves these kids and it must be a very bittersweet moment for her when "her" kids meet their forever families.

Best wishes!
