I couldn't help but think of the old John Denver song while we were there ... in fact, I think I drove Brian crazy singing it. Or maybe it's just that I can't sing that drove him crazy. Haha.
Here's some from our weekend in West Virginia. First, we found the best little biscuit place. Each place we visit we try to find some local flavor type restaurant to eat at and pretty much stay away from the chain restaurants. If you're in WV, you need to eat at Biscuit World. You name it and they probably serve it on a biscuit. And not just a little ol' biscuit either, those things were huge!
We also spent some time in the Konawah forest and hiked some with the kiddos. Not too far but we still had a good time.
