Prior to falling into the "affected" category in the recent layoff, one of the things I never really had an opportunity to do was go on playdates with friends. Now that I am in the "affected" category we have been able to fit a few of those in ... and goodness have we enjoyed them.
This particular one took place after the holiday weekend and before parents day out had let out for the summer so while both Rebecca & Ryan were occupied, I was able to take Emma and let her play with some of her friends from preschool. The flags were still out along the waterfront and then we went to one of the playgrounds along River Road.
